About our Club

Delano Snowstormers a local non-profit snowmobile club is “50 Years Strong!”

Supporting Our Trails Since 1971

Club Membership (family & individual), includes membership in the Wright County Snowmobile Association, Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association, and the Delano Area Chamber of Commerce. The club also has DNR-Certified Youth Snowmobile Safety Instructors.

Club members perform trail maintenance and development each spring and fall to establish trails to local businesses and keep links throughout the county. Groomer drivers manage grooming of 50 miles of trails with a Wright County Snowmobile Association groomer operated and maintained by Snowstormers. A club warming shelter nestled in the woods along the scenic trail route provides snowmobilers a warm break from their ride. Snowstormers appreciate and respect landowners’ private properties as they permit use of their land for snowmobiling. The club takes pride in keeping trail systems maintained and safe for all to ride.

Snowstormers participate in community events, organize club events, host their annual silent auction fundraiser the first Saturday of December and conduct youth snowmobile safety training in January. Club rides are scheduled as trail conditions allow during the snowmobiling season.

Come to Delano/Wright County and enjoy the great snowmobile trails. Trail maps are available at local businesses throughout the county.

New members are always welcome.  Club meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. the second Monday of each month at the Delano American Legion.
